Turn silent-e practice into a hands-on game that combines reading, spelling, and a little bit of luck!

Good to Go! features 45 double-sided word and picture cards. Players read a word, spin the two-sided chip, and discover whether to keep the word as written or change the vowel sound by adding a silent-e. Then they flip the card to reveal a picture and see if their word matches!

For example, kit might stay kit or become kite. The spin determines which word players say, encouraging flexible thinking as they move between short and long vowel sounds.

Reading — Spin, Toggle & Match!

Read the word, spin the chip, and say the word based on the result. Flip the card to check the picture. If it matches, keep the card! If not, return it to the pile.

Reading & Spelling — Double the Practice!

Add a spelling challenge to reading play! Students say the sounds and write the word before checking their spelling.

Spelling — Start With the Picture!

Turn the cards picture-side up! Players name the picture, flip the chip, and spell the word, adding a silent e when needed. Flip the card to check their spelling.
